An Appointment that Suits.

Rensselaer, Sept. 12—[Special.]—The methodist 3 and public generally here are very much pleased to lbarn that the conferqnqe has returned the Rev. E. G. Pelley to this place. The methodistq have been endeavoring to to build a new bouse of worship for the, lust ten years, but their efforts Were unavailing until the Rev. Pelley came here. By his industry add tact he has succeeded in producing a subscription of $4,500. Work on the building will commence this fall and be prosecuted as rapidly as circumstances will permit. In addition, to his ability as an organizer, Mr. Pelley is a thorough scholar* and a brillian t pul pit orator ,-Indiaßapolis Sentinel.
