HOGAN AND WALKER.
The U. B. church, of Walker was dedicated on Sunday by Elder Hamilton, aseisted by Elder Thorn. There was a large congregation, and as usual a good collection. The church is a credit not only to the denomination but to Walker township. This is the second chure4r*4or Walker. Charley and Ella Hanley are attending the institute at Rensselaer. Peter Huffman the P. M. has moved to Hammond, this state. One case of scarlet fever in west Walker. Hay Pressing in full blast in Hogan, and the farmers are taking advantage of the good Aveather, Our Mechanics are putting up the Christian church, at 'Wheatfield. Don’t forget the Republican rally and polo raising at Hogan, Saturday «t 2, p. to. Come, disatisfied democrats and get conveited to a good cause.
