JUSTLY HANGED.
Charles alias “Blinkey” Morgan, the principal, figure in the Ravenna rescue and the murder of Detective Hulligan, of Cleveland, was executed at the Ohio Penitentiary at. one o’clock, Friday morning. The crime for which Alorgan was hanged will be remembered. Jan. 29, 1887, the fur store of Benedict & Riedy, at Cleveland, was robbed of $7,000 worth of sealskin garments. One of the robbers wasarrested a few days later at Pittsburg. AVhile the officers were returning on the train with their prisoner they were attacked at Ravenna, 0., by three roughs. Detective Hulligan was killed, with a car link. Capt. Hoehn was shot three times, but eventually recovered. The roughs, With the prisoner escaped. A man named Coughlin, and Alorgan, were soon after arrested and convicted. Coughlin was granted a new* trial, and finally his case was nollied. The third man was named Robinson, and he is now in jail at Ravenna awaiting trial. Alorgan averred his in nocence tathe last. \
