Obituary.

MRS. MARY stOWERSi Mary f-Moifitt) Stowers was born in Randolph Co. Ind,, Aug. 17 th 1865>and .died :W tho h >mo ol her parents' Mr. ami Mrs. Miles Moililt. Lear Surrey Jasper county, on April 21st. 1888,' ,-.pc 1 225 rs.' Btno. 4 days, came ■a it i her parents ffom Hand. Co. in the fall of 1883 and lias resided in Jadper county ever since. A Jittle less than a year ago she united in the holy bonds of matrimony with George Stowers of Mt, Ayr. Newton Co. Her sickness was not of long standing, but her .iuHering was great. She leaves a husband, ah infant son, father, mother, four brothers, four sisters, together with many other relatives and friends to mourn her departure. We feel that our loss is her gain. Funeral services were conducted at the residence, Sunday. Apr 22nd at 11 o'clock a. m. by Rev. Pierson, after wnieh tde rehiams’ wenF taken to - LUO Prichard grave yard for interment. A Kfj.ative.
