"A Promising Young Man.”

A Rensselaer representative in the University of Indiana, at Bloomington, sends back the fol lowing very gratifying account of another Young Jasperite, m that institution: “It may be gratifying to the teachers of Jasper county to know that they are represented in the State University by so distinguished a student as Homer B. Debill, pf Remington. His career at the University, has been* one of unusual brilliancy. Out of a possible twenty-nine (29) excellent he has captured every one; and last week he won the Baldi, in oratory prize of 825. offered by. Judge Baldwin, of Logansport. Subject: ‘Our State and its needs.’ Mr. Dibell is an old teacher of .Jasper county, having taught several terms north of town.
