Number 1, white flag, six f-Bt square, always indicates clear or tail' WffattTUl, HO ntitkNumber 2, blue ting, six feet square, indicates rain or snow. Number 3, black, triangular flag six feet at the bft'.se, and six feet in length, always refers- to temperature. When placed above numbers 1 or 2 it indicates Warmer weather; when placed beloAV numbers 1 or 2 it indicates colder weather; when not displayed, the indications are that the temperature will remain stationary,or that the change in tempi rafure will not vary five degrees from the temperature of the same hour of the proceeding day.
