The Circuit Court.

His Honor Judge P. 11. Ward arrived Monday evening and proceeded to open court and instruct the grand jury. It was organized by the election ot' Wm. Hanley of Walker tp. as foreman. Of the original panel Frank Osborne of Rensselaer, was excused from serving and J. A. Burnham substituted in his place. Considerable routine work lias been done, hi clearing up the civil and probate dockets. Nothing has been done with any state cases. The petit jury assembled yesterday and was dismissed uutil Thursday, of next week.
