Mrs. J P. Fairchild is confined to her bed by sickness. A malignant type of throat and Inng disease is visiting the children cf this vicinity. SicKiiess is reported in the families cf Mrs. Effie M, Fairchild, D. E. Fairchild and John Eubank; no fatalities as yet. Our section boss John Pitson Sundayed in Valparaiso. John Querry and bride, nee Miss Anna DeeElms, arrived at tfie Troxell House Monday. John has been in the employ of the the Three I road as telegraph operator an d station rd at De Mot te for six months. We tender our congratulations, but never smoke. G.-E. Powers of Michigan, is in town looking after his real-estate interests.
