Leopold's Hard Luck
Mr. A. Lec>i>old has had the hard luck t© lose, during the lost two weeks, five good cows and one yearlji g. Two of them died about two weeks ago and the others, taken sick at the same time, have died at intervals since that lime. The last one was killed yesterday morning, to relieve its suffering. The cause of their death in not clear, but Mr. Leo Told believes} that they were poisoned from drinking water, from a small poud, in his pasture, east of town, in which a lot of old paint kegs, cans,Ate., bad been throw n, when he removed the small building on Van Rensselaer St, in which Bissendens’ paint shop had been located.
