The Indiana Farmer came out last week, considerably enlarged and otherwise improved. Ihe Farmer is an excellent paper, in its field and we are glad to observe this sign of its prosperity. , ■■■■■MMMMaaMMBBMaaHBaB The result of the elections of Tuesday', considered as a w hole,is much in the nature of a drawn battle and furnishes neither side with any sufficient grounds for Jubilation. The most significant election of all, however, that in Ohio, is a splendid Republican victory, and Gov. Foraker is reelected by not less than 25,000 plurality. To-morrow; is the day set for the hanging of the seven Chicago Anarchists. Their only hope now is in the clemency of Gov. Oglesby. A mighty pressure has been I nought to bear upon him in saver of a commutation of their sentences, and we think it not unlikely that two or three of the less defiant and less guilty 7 of the condemned men will be spared. The others will surely hang. Great excitement exists in Chicago and the air is thick with rumors of im- • pending deeds of violence. The special grand jury called Delphi to investigate the Amer ’ Green lynching have reported that after examining thirty of the most likely witnesses they could find, they could not identify anyone who participated in the taking of Green* From the ja?Lor in the hanging atj Walnut Grove. They also report-' ed the* they made thorough, inves- ' tigation to learn whether the officials charged with Green’s safekeeping were derelict in duty, iu not having taken precautions the mob, and they find that no cne had been informed or any attempt at lynching, and the county officials are entirely exonerated from all blame.; This, last part of the grand jury ’s report is another black eye fcr Gov. Gray, who, it will be remembered, published a letter iu the papers censuring Sheriff Van Gun•Jy, and incidentially, Judge Gould. |nd other county and court offic- •

j We Hip the following from the De : troit Free Press. Detroit, Mich., Sept. C The,remarkable success attained by; 1 Hibbard’s Rheumatic Syrup is most encouraging evidence that au honest, pure and vnluablel’mediciue is not in capable of attracting flie attention of j every family. Mr. Hibbard seems to I have gunged the long felt want of the ■ average family of our day with wondcrI fu! accuracy, as there seems but one ■ opinion as to its great merit as a fam i I;.- remedy. In fact Hibbard’s Rheumatic Syrup has struck the golden mean in the treatment of all blood disI eases, and it affords us sinCbre pleasure I to be able to chronicle its conspicuous I popularity. They have just published a book treating on all blood diseases a work on different diseases and their causes, ect.; also renulies and how ap plied. I', is a work of art, finely illustrating the eight wonders of the world with the history of each, j Every family should to have it. Call - on your druggist for one; if you are unable to procure it, write the Rheumatic Syrup Company. Jackson Mich., and they will mail it to you. ,

HALL'S Theie is more Catarrh in this section of the country than all other diseaaes put together, and until the last few years was supposed to be incurable. For a great ■ many years doctors pronounced it i a local disease, and prescribed loi cal remedies, and by constantly failing to cure with local treatj.ment pronounced it incurable. Science has proven Catarrh to be ; a constitutional disease, and therefore requires a constitutional treatment. Hall's Catarrh Cure is the only constitutions! cure now on the market. It is taken internally in doses in doses from 10 drops to a teaspoonful. It acts directly upon the blood and mucus surfaces of the system. They oiler one hundollars for for any case it fails to cure.
