A $300,000 Forger.

Emil Schoenberg, a prominent and (supposed) wealthy brewer of Philadelphia, who recently disappeared, is said to have been a forger to the amount of $300,000. Among those whose names were used by him to carry fraudulent paper,were John P. Betz, $130,000; S. K. Nestor, Geneva, N. Y., $60,000; E. H. Poulterer,s7, ooo; David W. Stewart £ls,000; Mr. Youngling, Of New York, amount unknown. Schoeiiberg was last seen in Chicago.
