Tne Value of Limos and Members.

The money"vaine of the different parts of the human body has recently been fixed by a workingman’s mutual aid society, which adopted the following scale of percentages of life-rent for those of its members who in the exercise of their profession are accidentally disabled: For the loss of both eyes, both arms or hands, or both legs and feet, .100 per cent; for disabling from loss of the right hand f 90 per cent; loss of one foot, 50 per cent; of the left hand, 40 per cenft; of the right thumb, 33 per cent; of one eye, 22 per cent; ,of the left thumb or the right index, 14 per cent; and loss of any finger of the left hand, 4 per cent, on the disability rate. —Paris American Register. -
