RAILWAYS.
The Chicago extension of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad is expected to be completed between the first and middle of next September, says a Chicago telegram. At present the work of grading all along the line from Kansas City, Mo., to Fort Madison is being pushed with great energy. Track-laying from Kansas City will be commenced about July 1.
