The truth is, the supply was never so great and the prospect so favorable for its unbroken . continuance as at present. The old wells are all holding up to their Jull production except where allowed to become clogged with salt, and in the latter cases they return at once to their pristine vigor when the obstruction is removed, - as it easily and speedily can be. Natural gas has come to stay for a good many years yet.
