Death of Mrs. D. S. Makeever.

Mrs. Catherine Makeever, wife of Daniel S. Makeever, died at their residence on Division street, early last Sunday morning. ;• The cause of her death was inflammation of the stomach, followed by paralysis. Her sickness lasted only from Tuesday. Her age was nearly 53 years. The funeral was held at the residence, Monday afternoon, and was very largely attended. The Rev. David Handley preached the funeral sermon. The deceased leaves a husband and three children, two sons'*hnd a daughter to mourn her loss. One son, David lives in Kansas, and though he came at once, after learning ofliis mother’s sickness, he arrived too late to see her alive,
