CARPENTER TOWNSHIP.
The graduating exercises at Carpenter tp. last Saturday night, at the Price school house, were witnessed by a crowded house. The music which was given by the young people of the neighborhood, assisted by some of the young ladies ql Remington, was the attractive feature of; the entertainment. It was regretted by all that Miss Lola Curtis, one of the graduates, was prevented from being present. The County Superintendent presented tfie diplomas and Mr. O. M. Vick, cry the certificates of honor. Mr. Vick ery made some excellent remarks upon the necessity for regular attendance a! .school.
