Another Collision.
The Crawfordsville accommodaion on the Monon route, due here Torn the north at fifteen minutes past 10 o’clock Thursday night, was run into by a wild passenger engine following it, a quarter of a mile this side of Carr’s tank, south of Brookston. The rear end of the last coach was smashed in, the between the coaches broken, and a large hole made in he rear end of the tank. The coliding engine had her pilot, headight and smoke-stack knocked off, and was considerably otherwise damaged. John Donovan, the engineer, escaped-unhurt; but liis ireman. who resides at Indianapolis, had his head cut and was otherwise seriously bruised. There was but few passengers on the train, and they all escaped with a severe shaking up. Among them were Father Walters, of St. Mary’s Church, on his way home from ; iensselaer.— Lafayette Call.
