The platform, jointly evolved bv himself and Editor Walterson, protests confidence in the “integrity and conscientious devotion to duty of President Cleveland,” but gives his civil-service policy a slap; is non-committal on the silver qnestion, denounces “sumptuary” legislation, and demands an “immediate reduction of the war Tariff.” Gen.
