The Missionary Convention
The following ministers and layi men from abroad were present at I the Missionary Convention, at . the M. E. church last Thursday: J. L. Smith, D. D. Presiding Elder, j Valparaiso district; C. A. Brooks, 1 1). D. Pastor, Valparaiso M. E. !church; G. li. Streeter, Crown ! Point; Rev. Edmundson, Hammond; Rev. T. E. Webb, Medaryjville: Rev. W. Hall, Monon; G. [Lambert, Burnettsville; W. P. | McKinsey, Monticello;E. B. Woodson, Remington; Win, Crapp, Morocco; R. C. Mcßeynokls, Brook r D. W. Jessee,' Rensselaer circuit. The meeting on Thursday night' was designed to be the one of special interest to onr people, and in some respects was profitable. Mrs. A. C. McKinsey was present to represent the interest of the womens work in this line, which, with a better opportunity, she would have done to the pleasure of everyone.
