A Bold Robbery.

On Tuesday night, of last week, the bed-room of Edward Biggs, a well known and prosperous citizen of Kankakee township, was enter--64 by a thief, and a pocket-book containing $l6O was taken from the pocket of a . coat which was hanging in the room. Mr. Biggs’ pants had also been removed from the place where he left them, and searched for “boodle” but a pockets book in the hip pocket containing slls was overlooked. The pockets of a young man who occupied the same room with Mr. Biggs were also ransacked and a small 6um taken. Mr. Biggs pocket-book was found the next morning, a short distance from his door, with the contents removed. His vest containing a valuable watch was carried down stairs, but the watch was not taken. Mr. Biggs is of the opinion that the person who committed this robbery was not a stranger in the neighborhood, but some one familiar with the house and its arrangements.
