A Mind Diseased.

.Justices' Wood, of Rensselaer, and Norman, ot Barkley tp., assisted by Drs. Loughridge and Alter, held an examination latt Thursday, to determine the mental condition of Rebecca dcQkins. of Barkley, They found her unquestionably insano. She thinks she sCps tramps who want to kill her; is hysterical, riolcnt at times, and shows homicidal tendencies, especially towards oae of her brothers. She also • shows suicidal tendencies. Her trouble first developed last fall when she was uadly frightened by a tramp, and when, after a period ot great nervous excitability and prostration, she remained in ,ia cataleptic condition for two days. She is the daughter of the Mrs. Jenkins who committed suicide three or four years ago. -ller age is l'J years. Ap plicaii m has been made for her admitsion to the state insane asjlum.
