The Town Board.
At their regular, monthly .session, Monday night, ordered tire 10 new' street to he-at once placed where they would tip the must ■ gOO& . - . ' . • . . The Street Committee was ordered to examine the side-walks on the north side of Miiroy, the «east of Front and the west of Cullen streets, with the view of determining whejther they had best be repaired or coudemnejd. Mrs. Hemphill's, claim for damages sustained from the high water in Makemself was continued. The Town Marshal was instructed to notify property owners on Miiroy street, from Mrs. Mary KaiinaTs house to IV. H. Rhoades’ to build the new side-walks along the south side of that street; and in case of their neglect to do so u the Marshal is to build them at the owners’ expense. * ' The three completed firs cisterns were located, one in the iear of Wright’s furniture store; one in the rear of Hemphiil's now building; and one in the rear Finer Bros.’ hardware store. It is’ with the understanding that owners of buildings near the cisterns will connect them with their eavo conductors, and keep them tilled with water. A new contract made with F. G.
