The revival meetings at Brushwood are closed, with woi'derful success; 4$ converts were inblej. to the churcli. The. mrutinTs were conducted by Rev. A. C. McKinley, pastor of The United Brethren in Christ. Meeting has also commenced at Independence and conducted by Rev. McKinley, J. W. Lash, of Delaware Co., J. E. Bruner, A. Abbett, J. AV. Noland, Noah Primmer, of White Co., and Elder Stephen Lash is also expected to be present. The meetings are to continue two weeks. On Friday, Feb. 25, Eld. A. M. Synder, presiding Elder, will preach. Second quarterly-mee thqg wi 11 convene on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 3 p. in., at Independence school house. All are invited to come. There will be a movement made in conference for a church building in this locality. The Brethren have also held a very successful meeting at Center school house, in Walter tp., with ten. accessions to the church. These meetings closed on the 10th of Feb., but_will begin again on the Gtb of March. McK.
