Confidence Men Arrested.

John Templeton, of Seafield, and Martin Burns, of Barkley tp., were arrested late Tuesday night for an attempt to work an old and successful confidence game, the agreement to sell a large sum of counterfeit money for a small amount of good cash. The legal form of • the charge was “conspiracy to pro Cure and utter counterfeit money,” Elvin Israel, the man who was lately so badly left in a saloon transaction, was the intended vic- ' tim of the attempted game.
