The teachers of Gill am township, Jasper county, and of White Post, Cass and Salem tps., Pulaski county, will hold a joint instiI tute at Medarj.ville, Eeb., 19. The | Superintendents of Jasper, Pulas- ; ki and Stark counties are expected to be present. The Remington Pair Association at their annual election selected the follwing persons as officers for 1887: D. H. Patton, Pres. Thos Wilcox, Vice Pres. OP. Tabor, Treas. O. M. Vickery, Secy. J. J. It is the. intention of the managers to make the fair this year better than ever, and that is saying much in their favor, as the Remington fair is known, far and near, as being the Lest in the state.
