Husband and Wife Insane.

Several weeks ago thieves broku into the Postoffice at Chalmers, Lud., and also the residence of William W. Raub, a prominent and wealthy citizen. The fright, to Mrs. Raub caused her to lose* her mind, and she was taken to Chicago for treatment. Hei husband visited her, and m the nighttime she escaped from the room, dressed only in her night-clothes. Mr. Raub followed, also in his night-clothes, and finally overtook her, and she was returned to her room, but is still undergoing treatment. The matter . preyed upon Mr. Raub’s mind so mucli that lie also became violently insane, and has been taken to the Indianapolis asylum. It is a sad case all through. Mr. Raub is well fixed in this world’s goods and a good citizen. The calamity to his wife has overbalanced his own reason, and all caused by a burglary.
