J. C. Porter has rented his hay ;barn and grain buying business b Percy Taylor, and his coal trade to R. P. Benjamin, and in company with his step-son, Wnj. Salter, in tends starting a bank iu Paoli, the county seat of Orange county. The style of the new firm will be Porter & Salter. Mr. Salter left for Paoli Tuesday evening and Mr. Porter will go next week The latter’s family will remain here for the winter, probably. Paoli is a thriving town of about 800 inhabitants and havinp just got its first railroad, a branch of the L. N. A. & C. it is likely to experience something of a boom. Messrs. Porter & Salter’s bank will be the first to be established there.
