Big Fire at Wolcott,

A dispatch from Lafayette, in yesterday’s Inicr-Occdn says: A fire broke out at Wolcott, White county, nt one o’cl ck this morn ing, which destroyed about half of the town. The Peck Hotel, three large dwelling houses, the Christian church and all its contents, one saloon, and a great many outhouses were entirely consumed The, fire originated in a shed in the rear of the Peck Hotel, and when discovered had gained such headway that the bucket-brigade could do nothing toward extin gnashing the flames. The loss will be about SIO,OOO, with vary littl« insurance.
