, -a» There has just been a bad outpreak of the dreaded cattle disease pleuro-pneuiponi'a, in Clinton county. It is said to have originated among a drove of several hundred calves brought i'A from Ohio. A considerable number of infected cattle have died and many more have ,been slaughtered and their carcasses burned. .. The Indianapolis ahd Chicago ! papers, in recording thb disease in ‘ Clinton county have also frequently stated that it also existed in Jasper county.
