Charged with Attempted Murder.

Louis Mosier, one of the best Uinown citizens of Keener township, was brought to 'town Tuesday night, by special constable James Deßoer, and lodged in jail on thO charge of assault with intent to murder. It is stated that Mosier waxed dreadful wroth at his sonin 7 law Henry Granger, because the latter had informed the township Assessor of the number of dogs of which his beloved father-in-law was the happy but unassuming possessor, and on Tuesday, with blood in his eye and adoublebarrel shot-gun in his hands, Mos-ier-marched into Granger’s ho.use swearing he would kill the first man he saw. Granger stood behind .one door and his friend Fred Rowe behind another, and as the irate old man walked past, they grabbed him, and took away his gun and fired it in the air. Mosier was arrested the same day and taken before Squire Shortridge, of Keener, who bound him over to the circuit court, in the sum of *2,000, and he was brought down the same night, as before stated. It is probable that bail will be given, within a few days. . , ■* Remember the cheap Drug Store, and give me a trial; if you are not satisfied, it will be time to go elsewhere. Emmet Kannal.
