Acknowledging a Painful Fact.
Bloomfield Democrat. There is no disguising the tact that the Republicans are united and solid. They are' in line, man to man and shoulder to shoulder. There is, also, no use trying to disguise tho fact that the Democratic party is stronger out of power than in power. When out of power, no one expected anything, and was neither sore nor disappointed. When once ill power, too many expected something, and have expected and hoped in vain, and the poet tells us that •-hopes deferred mafeth the soul sick.” These soul-sick individuals must be cured or we are defeated. • _ ' ' ,
