Last Monday’s Election.
The Democrats of Rensselaer met Saturday night and made their nominations for the town offices. The names of their cancandidates appear in the state ment of the vote, below. It was a fairly good ticket, although evidently not designed with a special view of raking in the Prohibition vote. As is the regular game of the party when in the minority, they consolidated all their efforts upon one candidate and traded off everybody for his benefit. This time their efforts were centered upon their candidate for town Clerk, A. F. Long, and the result shows-. that they succeeded in capturing a great many Republican votes. Below is the vote for each candidate:
