Some Forcible Remarks in Regard to Commissioner Black.

An intuit t® every faithful Soldier. 4ndlana;>«il« Journal. :' r In the case of |Fifer, of Illinois, whoso pension General •ed hnd been granted for political ■ reasons, it appears that the Com" missioner of Pensions has proven himself to be a more contemptibleslanderer than in other instances. There is not so pusillanimous a man in the whole ndministrnHoyr. as John C. Black, and if Mr. Lamar or Mr. Cleveland cared for the good opinion of the common people they would not permit him to disgrace the office he hold twentyfour hours longer. He is a stench in the nostrils of every decent man, and a particular insult to every faithful, honorable soldier.
