The contract lor county stationery, blank bwks, &c., for the. next year, was given to Spring. Emerson & Co , of Three or four inianapolis hou-ys, and one Logansport house, competed for the contract. Simon P- Thompson was appointed County Attorney, year, at a salary of §2OO. The insurance on the Court House was renewed for another five years. Tee risk is $9,000 and the tot d premium is §270. The contracts^for doctoring the poor of the various townships were awarded, and the prices paid, as follows: Hanging Grove, §10; Barkley, ! §4O; Mliroy, §l6; Union, §2O; to j F. P.
