Commissioners' Court.

The county Commissioners met in regular Maich session, Monday. "Two applications for saloon licenses were heard Monday. Timothy O’Conner, of Remingtqn got his license, without contest;’but in the case of Robert Granger, ot DeMotte, certain citizens opposed, on the grounds, mainly, that as a clerk in the present saloon in that town he had frequently m de illegal sales di liquor, and also allowed minors to play pool &c in his saloon. The license was refused. Tuesday and Wednesday were mainly given to the consideration of miscellaneous .claims.
