TO Celebrate Washington’s Birthday.
The ladies of the M. E. church have decided -to celebrate Washington’s birthday, by giving an entertainment and fair at the Opera House. The exercises wilt consist of a musical and literary program, and supper. A number of useful and fancy articles will be on exhibition, and will be sold cheap. A special feature of the entertainment will be -an. art gallery in charge of Miss Hill, Mrs. H/J. Dexter, and T. J. Farden. An admittance of 10 cents will be charged at the door. Supper served for 15 cents. The following is the program of exercises: Anthem. Recitation, Miss M. Hill- v Instrumental Music, Mrs* S- P* Thompson. Duet, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Watson.
