The Township Conventions.
The Township Republican Conventions, of last Saturday evening,were, so far as reports have been received, well attended and harmonious, and did well the work for which they were called. From such reports as have been received by the Secretary of the County Committee, in time for publication, we inake the following abstracts:

The convention adopted a resolution in favor of allowing the new County Central Committee to choose its own chairman and secretary. either from among its own from persons not members. I. B.
