Col. Yerger, accompanied by his little son, went out for a walk. Col Yerger had forgotten to take his watch with him. Being desirous of knowing what time it was, he told Johnny to ask a voung man close by what o’clock it was. The young man happened to be a student of the University of Texas. He replied to the inquiry of Johnny: . “Tell your pa I don’t know what o’clock it is. I, too, have been obliged to soak my watch."— Texas Siftings.
