The New Fair Officers.

The Stock-holders of the Jasper county Agricultural Society held their annual meeting in Treasurer’s office, in the court house, last Saturday, and elected officers and directors, as follows: President, P. H- Yeoman, reelected; Vice President, Chas. W. Coen; Secretary, E. C. Nowels, re-elected; Treasurer, C. C. Starr, re-elected; General Superintendent, Thos. J. McCoy. Directors, W. 8. Coen, C. W. Coen, B. Paris, Jay Lamson, J. M. Wasson, Vai Seib, H. W. Porter, Addison Parkinson, D. H. Yeoman, E.C. Nowels, T. J. McCoy, C. C. Starr. New by laws were adopted abolishing the office of Marshal, and giving to the General Superintendent the power to appoint an assistant, and largely increasing the powers and responsibilities of that officer. The records for the year show that the receipts were $1878.42, and the expenditures just $lO 65 less than the receipts.
