Odd Fellows Entertainment at Francesville,
Francesvffle Lodge No. 190, I. O. O. F, will give a public entertainment, consisting pf Instrumental and Yocal music, public installation of officers, and Supper, on New Year’s evepipg, Jan. Ist, 1886. The proceeds of the evening will be used for the completion of their new Brick Ball. All are to attend.
Obituary.
Caroline B. Coen. —Died Saturday morning, Dec., 12,1885 Was born in Lancaster county, Penn., December 16, 1836, and died in Jasper county, lod., Dec., 12, at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 27 days. Her maiden name was Hosier. Her parents removed from Pennsylvania when slio was about three years old, and settled in Fountain county, Indiana. She was married to William S. Coen, March 15, 1854, and they removed to Jasper county in November, 1866. To this union have been born ten children —sis sons and four daughters—nine of whom survive her. She united with the Presbyterian church Robroy, Fountain county, Ind., at about the age of fifteen. “Words fail to express my gratitude, 1 says Mr. Selby Carter, of Nashville. Tenn., “for ,the benefits derived from Ayer’s Sarsaprilla. Herefords on Top.
Hereford Cattle took twenty, three prizes out of twenty-seven at tne Chicago Fat Stock Show against all kinds combined. All of the most noted Short-horn breeders in the world competed for s the prizes. A.
