Sleighing is good, and the farmers are rushing their grain, poultry, and other farm products into town at a lively rate, albeit the prices are not such as to weight down their pocket-books to any great extent. The ladies of the Presbyterian and Christian denominations will give a fair and supper conjointly at Exchange Hall, on Friday evening of this week. Many useful and beautiful articles will be.offered for sale, and such of your readers as contemplate making handsome but comparatively inexpensive Christmas presents will do well to attend. The ladies of the M. E. S. S. are preparing for an entertainment to be given at Exchange Hall cm Christmas eve, to consist of music, recitations, dialogues, tableaux'and other interesting features. The Union S.,S. will give one of like character on Christinas night.
