JORDAN ITEMS.
t Mr. William Timmofis’ little .three year old son has been very low with brain fever, but under the patient.and watchful care of Dr. J. C. Defiling, is fast improving. Mr., 'J. Goodrich is making preparations to move to California in January. He goes for the health of himself and family. The fire fiend visited our township last Tuesday and destroyed a building situated on A. J. Yeoman’s farm, •west of Dr. James Ritchea’s. Democrats, Greenbackers and Mugwumps, have all disappeared. Nothing is left but the bone and sinew of the township, vouched safely in the Republican party, which will, evidently, demonstrate itself next spring in a handsome, great, big majority.
A REPUBLICAN.
