Robbery at North Judson.
A very bold robbery 'was committed gt North Judson, in Stark county, on the Three I. road on Sunday morning of last week. The burglars, who were probably professionals, entered Jacob Kellar’s store and when J ohn Kurtz, one of the clerks war shot in th store, returned from the lodge, they siezed him and compelled him to try to open the safe, but this he was unable to do, not knowing'the combination. Three other clerks were sleeping in the building,,apd they were then awoke, and marched down to the safe. All of them were threatened with instant death if they did not open the safe, but none of i.them able to do so. The burglars then tried to,blow the safe open with powder, but that also failed. They then took what loose valuables the clerks had about them, and about the store, to the value- of perhaps a couple of hundred dollars, the clerks with ropes, and left. The clerks got loose and gave the alarm in a short time, but no trace of the robbers could be discovered.
