The Sultan has issued an irade for the mobilization of the entire Turkish army for immediate service. The Porte is attempting to negotiate a loan with the OttoBank. Two delegates sent by Prince Alexander to assure the Sultan that peace and order prevail in Eastern Roumelia have been placed under arrest at Constantinople. King Milan declares that if the union of the Bulgarian '( is recognized by the powers, Servia will fight unless her demands for territorial extension are conceded. Placards have been posted in Philippopolis announcing that the Porte accepts the union of Bulgaria and Roumelia under Prince Alexander. .. .The Abyssinian expedition, marching to the relief of the Kassala garrison, after a severe battle, defeated a large force under Qsman Digna. the latter losing 3.000 men m the encounter....
