Those Races Again.
By some mischance mir compositors ldft out two of the fair races in our account last -week, and got the others so badly mixed that we repeat the account this week. Fr om and after the first day of October the night mails at Rensselaer post office will be dosed at 7 o’clock in th§ evening—one hour earlier than at present. M iss Clara Dexter took the early train this morning for Cheyenne, Wyoming Terr., at which place she will be married, next Saturday evening, to Mr. Geo. C. Starr, a merchant of Cheyenne. A law suit in the court house, before Judge Purcupile, occupied a large part of a day, Friday. Allen Oatt sued Samuel Daugherty and Frank Kellett on an old board bill, and got judgement for $93.00 and costs. Mrs. J. B. Mackey who has been visiting her parents in this place: this summer left last week for Chicago, where she will join, Mr Mackey, who is general agent for National School Aid and Appartus Co., of Chicago 111. They will make their future home in South Western Kans., at Mr. Mackey’s western headquarters.
