The Board or Education.

The Ooupty Board of Education, held their regular semi-an-nual meeting, last Monday, witL nearly all members present. The Board adopted resolutions to the effect that the public schools should all be closed on all public holidays, but that teachers should not receive pay for days so dismissed. Also that, so far as practicable, all the schools in a township should begin on the same day. The. question of adopting a next text book on physiology &c was laid over until the May meeting. j
