FROM THE REMINGTON NEWS.
Our editorial friend Ed. H. Graham dropped, in the News office Wednesday. He recently returned from Kansas and at present is stopping at Kentland. Senator Hoover has purchased twelve hundred acres of excellent land near Topeka, Kansas, and we are informed he expects to- have improvements put on at an early day. The Remington Fair begins September Lt and continues three days. Remember the date, for it Will be the best fair ever held in the .well kno.vn : Remington Fair Grounds. W * During the rain storm, last Monday evening, John W. Saylor’s house, some five miles northeast of town, was struck by lightning. .Foitunately no person was injured and,the house was not badly damaged. At the, regular monthly meeting of the School Board, Tuesday, the vacancies in the remaining departments of the Remington schools were supplied. The corps of teachers is therefore complete.
