A Small Cyclone in Newton County.

Kentland Gazette. Last Sunday afternoon at about halt past five o’clock, a miniature cyclone swept across the northeast corner of Washington township, but did little or no damage. It p/eceded the rain storm and was suspended from what might be called the back part of the heavy dark clouds. Those that witnessed it described it as a kind of a whirlwind with the regular cyclone fiinnel shape, with the rotary motion, rising and falling, sweeping the ground for a short distance and then rising, and in a short time falling again.
