A Few Points from the State Board of Health.
± ■ . ■—' ' ■ : The Third Annual Report of the State Board of health, has been distriblUted to the, County health Officers. The /report shows, among other interesting facts: that twenty-nine states have Boards of health; that much has been done to learn the sanitary condition of + he State of Indiana; that small pox. prevailed last year in twenty counties; and that the mortality from that disease was 100, against 213 the year before; scarlet fever, diptheria and typhoid fever had prevailed in many localities, but few deaths had occurred from them as compared with other years; that one death was caused by Eqnina or glanders, the first reported in the state.
