[San Francisco telegram.] Harriet Moore, a middle-aged widow, has commenced a breach of promise suit, placing her damages at’5225,000, against Moses Hopkins, aged seventy. The defendant is a brother of the late Mark Hopkins, the railroad magnate, from whom he inherited an estate estimated at $6,000,000. Wilktr, Collins, the novelist, is in very poor health.
